Description

The Macleay Vault, located 8 yards north of the Church of St Nicholas in Godstone, is a family vault built around 1815 in the Greek Revival style. It is constructed of stone and features a Greek cross plan with pedimented panel sides. The vault has projecting angle piers that are decorated with channelled designs and small semicircular acroterions.
