Description

Elkins Vault is a family vault located approximately 12 metres south-west of the Church of Holy Trinity. It was built in the early 19th century and is dedicated to the Elkins family. The structure is made of stone and designed in the Greek Revival style. It has a rectangular plan with shallow curved ends. The corners feature Doric columns, and there is a pedimented break at the centre of the north and south sides, supported by additional Doric half-columns.
