Description

No. 16 Trinity Churchyard is a house that has been converted into an office. It dates from the early 19th century and has 20th-century extensions at the rear. The building features colourwashed stucco with a hipped slate roof on the front section, while the ground floor is covered in painted weatherboard and the rear extensions have a plain tiled half-hipped roof. It stands two storeys high with attics on a plinth and has end stacks.

The front elevation includes two 8-pane attic glazing-bar sash windows set in moulded wood frames, along with two 16-pane glazing-bar sash windows on both the first and ground floors. The central entrance consists of a 6-panel door beneath an over-light, framed by an architrave surround and topped with a flat-roofed porch supported by square piers. On the right side, there are two 20th-century casement windows on the first floor and three windows on the rear range, with a door located at the junction of the two ranges. This house is part of a charming group of buildings surrounding the churchyard of the Church of Holy Trinity.
