Description

The Entrance Lodge to the Royal Military Academy, built around 1810, is a single-storey structure with an L-shaped plan. It is made of colourwashed stucco and features hipped slate roofs. The lodge has a taller pavilion at the angle and rendered ridge stacks on the right side. The angle piers are adorned with glazing bar sash windows set in recessed panels, with one window at each corner and two on the right side of the street front. A half-glazed door is located on the left-hand return front, sheltered by a wooden porch with a tent roof and boarded posts. This building is included for its group value.
