Description

The Entrance Lodge and gateway at Antony Park is a Grade II listed building dating from around 1800, with some 20th-century alterations. Constructed from limestone ashlar, it features a hipped slate roof with a stack on the side. The lodge has a one-room plan that is heated by a side stack, with a service wing to the left and a single-storey addition at the rear from the 20th century.

The front of the single-storey lodge sits on a plinth and includes a twelve-pane sash window in a raised surround, with a blocked door on the right side. To the left, the service wing also has a hipped roof and a twelve-pane sash window.

The attached gate piers, which are about 2 meters high, are made of horizontal V-jointed rusticated granite set on a plinth, topped with a plain cornice and a pineapple finial on a shaped stem. The flanking walls are constructed of rubble and are approximately 1 meter high, curving around to the right and left.

The interior has not been inspected.
