Description
This is a barn located 20 yards from Rectory Farm House, dating from the 16th century, with a 20th-century extension on the front left. The barn is timber framed, standing on a rendered and brick plinth. The exposed frame is filled with whitewashed brick, and it has weatherboard cladding above. The left end is underbuilt with brick, and there is brick infill above it. The roof is plain tiled, hipped at the right end and extending down in a catslide over an open carriage bay at the right end. The barn is rectangular with central opposing wagon doors. Inside, there is a clasped purlin Queen strut roof with bracing to the corner posts. There is also a single-storey brick extension to the front left.
