Description

This is a 16th-century barn located 15 yards north of Lowlands Farm House. It features a timber frame set on a plinth made of brick and rubblestone, with weatherboard cladding. The front left has an extension with whitewashed brick, and the roof is covered with corrugated metal. The main barn is rectangular with five framed bays, a pent roof extension at the front, and a catslide extension at the rear. There are opposing full-height wagon doors positioned to the right of the center. Inside, the barn has braced posts with a Queen strut and a collar plate roof.
