Description
This is a barn located 30 yards south of Cherry Tree Farm House, dating from the 16th century, with a 19th-century extension on the right side and restoration work completed in the 20th century. The barn is timber framed, standing on a brick and stone base, with rendered infill in the exposed frame. It features plain tiled roofs, which are half hipped on the left and step down over the extensions to the right.
The main barn on the left has a lower extension that projects forward at the right end, with another extension set back at the right end. The structure is two storeys high and consists of three framed bays with irregular window placements, including five casement windows. There are stable-style doors located at the left end and to the right of the centre. The single-storey, three-bay extension on the right has two casement windows, while the further extension has two casement windows with two stable-style doors situated between them. There is a flat lintelled opening at the right end.
