Description
Alm’ner’s (Priory) is a 17th-century building, with later alterations and additions. It is three storeys high and has seven windows, including three gabled portions; one of these is timber framed with red brick nogging. The central three-window section is recessed, featuring a ground-floor loggia with slender Doric columns. The windows consist of near-flush-frame sash windows with glazing bars, and near-flush-frame leaded casements. The property is set within a lawned garden containing fine trees.
