Description
Clairville House is an 18th-century building made of sandstone, featuring two storeys and an attic. It has a facade facing the road with four windows that include 12-pane sash windows, shallow timber lintels, and sills. The south side has an irregular arrangement of sash windows with glazing bars, two bay windows topped with battlemented parapets, and two gabled dormers. The entrance is marked by a doorway with a rusticated stone architrave, and the roof is hipped and covered with slate. Clairville House is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 7 Webbe's Almshouses.
