Description

Webb's Almshouses, built in 1613, are a two-storey structure located on Copse Cross Street. The building features red sandstone with sections of timber framing. The road-facing side has seven small pointed windows, each with flat stone architraves and leaded panes. The doorways are designed with chamfered jambs and pointed heads. The roof is of the queen post type. Webb's Almshouses, along with Clairville House, form a group of buildings of architectural significance.
