Description
The gazebo in the garden of Southwood is a late 18th-century structure, consisting of one storey and featuring an octagonal shape topped with a pyramidal roof. It has sash windows with glazing bars and blank panels that are painted to resemble windows. The building is constructed of brick with tufa rusticated quoins. Above the entrance, there is an ornamental tablet, likely made of "coade" stone, which bears an inscription and the date 1794. This gazebo is part of the former grounds of St Ann's House.
