Description

Chart Lodge is an early to mid-19th century, two-story, three-window villa with a slightly later bay added to the right. The villa is constructed of stucco, with a prominent first-floor band. It has a Lakeland slate roof over the main block and Welsh slates over the added bay. The windows have moulded architraves; the main block features sash windows with glazing bars, while the right bay has tripartite windows without glazing bars. A set of five modern brick steps leads to the front door, which has a fanlight under a moulded architrave with a key block. The door is situated within an enclosed porch featuring a dentil cornice.
