Description

This is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay villa located on London Road. The villa has a low-pitched, long hipped roof covered in slate. It is constructed of stucco with incised lines. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set in plain reveals; those on the ground floor are round-headed with radial glazing. The front door is a six-panel door with a reeded surround and patterned fanlight, set within a wooden prostyle porch supported by slender columns and accessed by two stone steps. A slightly later 19th century bay has been added to the left-hand side, with modern casement windows now in place. Nos. 26 and 28 London Road form a group.
