Description
1 and 2 Sheep Green Cottages are a pair of houses that date back to the 17th century. They are timber framed, with the rear exposed and brick infilling, while the front features rat-trap brick cladding and a plain tiled roof that is half-hipped on the left side. The cottages are positioned at right angles to the street and have an end stack on the left and a ridge stack slightly left of center.
The buildings are two storeys high, with three windows on the first floor and three cambered-head windows below. There is a blocked cambered-head door to the left and another door to the right of center, which is set in a porch with a boarded and corrugated plastic roof. A boarded pentice is located to the left, while the rear includes a pentice to the right and a gabled stair-vice to the left. Additionally, there is a 20th-century extension on the right side.
