Description
1 and 2 Wollerton are a pair of houses built in the mid-17th century. They are timber framed with painted brick nogging set on a high painted brick plinth and feature a plain tile roof. The framing consists of square panels, with three extending from the sole plate to the wall plate, and the structure has three framed bays. The houses are two storeys tall with a gable-lit attic and have two brick ridge stacks. The front has seven windows, which include one-, two-, and three-light wooden casements from the 19th and 20th centuries. There is a boarded door located between the fourth and fifth windows from the left, along with a 20th-century glazed door to the right. The right-hand gable end features a stepped queen-strut truss and a rebuilt truss with a small attic casement. To the left, there is a one-storey brick lean-to addition with a boarded door at the front. The interior has not been inspected.
