Description

The Good Intent is a pair of houses dating from the 17th century, substantially altered in the mid-19th century. The houses have a timber frame with brick infill to the rear and right gable, while the front was rebuilt in white brick during the mid-19th century. The roof is tiled, half-hipped to the right, and has brick chimneys to the left and centre. The houses are two storeys high and have four bays. They feature irregular wooden casements, some with bars and others with a single horizontal glazing bar, all with cambered heads and six to each floor. Each house has a central, 20th-century gabled porch with a board door on the right side. The roof includes curved wind-braces.
