Description
Park Farm Cottages is a pair of houses dating from the early to mid-17th century, with alterations made in the mid-20th century. The cottages are timber-framed, featuring painted brick and rendered infill set on a rubble base, with gable ends made of coursed dressed limestone rubble. They have a machine-tiled roof and brick stacks at the ridge ends. The structure consists of four framed bays oriented north to south, and it is a single storey with an attic that includes dormers.
The west front elevation has all 20th-century casement windows, including three 2-light windows and one 3-light window on the ground floor. There are also two raking-top dormers with 2-light windows. At the northern end, there is a glazed 20th-century door, while the southernmost bay features a partly-glazed 20th-century door with a gabled canopy supported by brackets. The gable ends have attic lights, and there is a lean-to addition at the north gable end that includes a partly-glazed door.
