Description
The Old Bakehouse is a building that was originally a bakehouse and is now used as a house. It likely dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the late 20th century. The structure is made of coursed dressed limestone rubble and features a machine-tiled roof with a brick stack at the ridge end. It has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall.
On the south front elevation, the openings are topped with dressed stone lintels. The windows are all 2-light casements from the 20th century. The entrance, located to the right of the centre, has a glazed door that is also from the 20th century. Additionally, the main entrance has been relocated to the west end and features another 20th-century glazed door.
