Description

This is a 17th-century barn located behind Lake Cottage and Ockley Antiques, now used as a workshop and store. The barn is timber framed with thin scantling and has colourwashed render infilling, topped with a plain tiled roof. It features two framed bays with diagonal angle bracing. There is a dove-cot box attached to the gable end, which also has a window and door facing the street. Inside, the barn is floored and has a Queen-post, clasped purlin roof. The barn is included for its group value.
