Description

This is a 17th-century barn situated immediately southeast of Number 1 Horwood Cottages. The barn is timber-framed with stock brick nogging and weatherboarded gable ends. It has a tiled roof and comprises three bays. An entrance is located in the central bay, and a lean-to addition extends to the rear. The front wall displays exposed studs, middle rails, and braces, some of which are curved. Inside, the barn features queen struts to the collars, tenoned purlins, and arched braces to the tie beams.
