Description
This is a 17th-century barn, now used as a workshop, located 5 metres southeast of the house at Bonners. It was altered in the 18th century. The barn features a timber frame set on a brick sill and is covered in dark weatherboarding, with wainy-edge boarding on the south side facing the road and red brick infill on the northwest part. The roof is steep and made of old red tiles. The barn has a tall structure with four bays and two pairs of double doors on the front. It includes jowled posts, straight braces to the tie-beam, and a clasped-purlin roof supported by straight inclined queen-posts, along with straight braces to the wallplate. The barn is included for its group value.
