Description

Pepsal End Manor is a house dating from the 17th century, with a mid-19th century brick casing. The house is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern on the exterior, likely concealing a timber frame. It has a steep roof covered with old red tiles, with bellcast eaves. The house is two storeys high and five windows long, facing east. It follows a three-unit plan with an internal chimney and lobby-entry configuration. A later external chimney was added to the south gable. A square, brick porch with a hipped roof features an oak door with two panels. The east front has a low stucco plinth. It has three-light casement windows, set within bull-nose brick jambs and segmental arches, on the ground floor. A corbelled eaves course is also present. A large internal chimney is positioned one-third from the north end, with the porch aligned with it.
