Description

Woodham Farm House is a house dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century range added to the rear. The front range is timber framed, featuring a rubblestone plinth and whitewashed brick infilling, some of which is arranged in a herringbone pattern. The rear has extensions made of brown and blue brick, and the roofs are plain tiled. The house is positioned at right angles to the road and has a central chimney with a parallel range at the back.

It stands two storeys high and consists of four framed bays, with diagonal bracing on the first floor. The main stack is located at the centre, with additional stacks on the left and at the rear. The windows are diamond-pane leaded casements, with three on the first floor, one of which has two mullions. The ground floor has five windows, including one under a drip hood to the right of centre. A glazed door is situated in the centre.

On the left-hand return front, which faces the lane, there are two gables featuring a queen-post truss with herringbone brick infilling to the right. Each floor has one window, with the first-floor window located under a tiled hood. The left-hand gable has a similar first-floor window, while the window below it is blocked. At the rear, there are three diamond-pane windows on the first floor, with those at the ends located under on-eaves gables. The ground floor features two oriel windows, with a door in the centre under a gabled hood.
