Description
Conduit Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations and extensions from the 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with brick dressings and features plain tiled roofs, including a tile-hung gable end on the left side. The building has parallel ranges on the right and a cross wing at the left end. It stands two storeys high, with a plat band above the ground floor, and has end stacks on both ranges and double stacks at the rear. The windows are arranged irregularly, with three casement windows on the first floor and one in the gable, along with two ground floor windows and one in the gable bay. A panelled door is located at the centre of the right-hand range. The farmhouse was undergoing restoration at the time of the resurvey.
