Description
Tuesley Manor is a house with origins dating back to the 16th century, which was re-clad and extended in the late 17th century and 19th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble, featuring some ironstone galleting, with brick dressings and angle quoins. There are also some later brick dressings on the windows. The roof is plain tiled. The building has two storeys, with a brick cornice above the ground floor, which is under a tile pentice course. There is a corbelled, rebuilt end stack on the left side, along with further rebuilt stacks located to the right of the centre and at the rear. The windows are 20th-century casements, with three "cross" windows on the first floor and three larger "cross" windows on the ground floor, all under brick heads laid diagonally. There are glazed doors to the left of centre. The gable ends are tile hung and feature gable-lit attics. There is a wing at a right angle to the rear, and as the ground drops away, further extensions are set lower down.
