Description
Bailes Farm House is a 17th-century house with 19th-century extensions on the right and alterations made in the 20th century. The left side features a timber frame on a stone and brick plinth, which is underbuilt in whitewashed brick. The frame is exposed above, showcasing ogee curved corner bracing and a queen-post gable end. The house has plain tiled roofs, hipped at the rear, with two end stacks on the left and one at the rear right. It is two storeys high, with two gabled end bays on the front, each containing one 20th-century casement window on both floors. A 20th-century glazed door is located on the right-hand return front, sheltered by a pentice garage roof supported by brick piers. Inside, some framing is visible in the partition walls.
