Description
The Gardener's Cottage is a gardener's house built in the late 18th century, with some additions from the mid-19th century. It features a half-timbered design with rendered infill and a plain tiled roof that includes bands of fishscale tiling. There is a ridge stack located to the left of the center and another at the rear left. The cottage is two stories high and has three eaves dormers, with the center dormer topped by a conical roof. The ground floor has projecting leaded casement windows and a board door to the left, which is set in a trellis and gabled porch. To the left of the main structure, there is a single-storey, three-bay range with a pantiled roof. At the rear, there is a two-storey block with a hipped roof. The cottage is included as part of the original park scheme.
