Description
Gardener's Cottage is a house, possibly originally two cottages, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of uncoursed rubble stone with a stone slate roof and features stone end stacks. The building is single storey with an attic and has a two-bay range. To the left, there is a plank ribbed door, and next to it is a two-light casement window with leaded lights set under a common wood lintel. To the right of the center, there is another two-light casement window with leaded lights, and a single-light window to the right. The cottage has 19th-century gabled dormers on both the left and right sides, each with two-light casement windows. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have 19th-century part-blocked fireplaces.
