Description
Worlds End Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with significant 20th-century restoration. It is timber framed and has brick cladding, with tile hanging above to the left. The roof is tiled, with a large ridge stack to the left of centre. The cottage is two storeys with an attic in the gable front cross-wing to the left, and one storey and an attic to the right. There are two ground floor leaded casement windows to the right, and a tall casement window rising through one and a half storeys to the left of centre. A planked and ribbed door is located to the right of centre, set within an arched surround. The left-hand return front shows the timber frame. Inside, the timber frame is visible, featuring queen-post construction and deep brick fireplaces with wooden lintels.
