Description

No. 77 High Street is a house that has been converted into an office. It dates from the mid-18th century and underwent significant restoration in the 1970s. The building is constructed of brick and features a new slate roof. It has two storeys with brick dentilled eaves. On the first floor, there are two sash windows that sit under cambered heads. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door framed by an architrave surround, topped with a triangular pediment hood supported by brackets. To the right end, there is a 20th-century two-bay extension designed in a similar style, which is set back from the main façade. The left side of the building has a 20th-century bow window on the ground floor, and there is also a 20th-century wing at the rear.
