Description
This stable, built around 1770, is located approximately 5 meters southeast of Lodge Farmhouse. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is single storey with a loft, and has window and loft openings along with stable doors on the east side. At the north end, there is applied timber framing, which is partly original, creating a triple-arched blind arcade; the stone footings are part of the original stonework behind. The quatrefoil in the gable is missing. This arcade was designed to be part of the overall appearance when the lodge is viewed from the park.
