Description
This building is a range of two barns located approximately 30 meters west-southwest of Number 7, Hensington Farmhouse. The barn on the left dates from the late 17th century, while the barn on the right is dated 1811. The barn to the right is constructed of limestone rubble with squared stone used for the porch and features a gabled stone slate roof. It has a three-bay plan with a central threshing floor and a gabled porch that includes plank doors. The barn to the left has a similar plan and materials, featuring plank double doors. Inside, both barns have two three-bay collar-truss roofs with butt purlins.
