Description

No. 8, Oxford Street, is an early 18th-century house, now used as offices. The building is constructed of squared and coursed limestone, with a gabled stone slate roof and Welsh slates to the rear, and has brick end stacks. It has a 2-unit plan with a rear outshut. The two-storey structure has a three-window front. A timber lintel is above the 20th-century door on the left, and there are horned eight-pane and tripartite sash windows; the first floor has 19th-century eight-pane sashes. Gabled roof dormers are present. The interior features chamfered beams. A partial inspection only was possible.
