Description

This is an early 19th-century cowhouse located adjacent to the west of Mill Farmhouse in Black Bourton. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone, featuring roughly dressed quoins and door jambs. The cowhouse has a 20th-century corrugated iron roof that rests on the original timbers. It is a single storey with three bays and has three board doors topped with old wooden lintels. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
