Description

The Graves and Wheeler tombs, located to the southwest of St Mary's Church, are late 18th century chest tombs, one for each family. They are constructed of ashlar stone and feature decorative swags and garlands that frame the inscription plaques. The tombs are surrounded by elegant wrought iron railings, which have vase finials at the corners and six openwork piers positioned at the midpoint of each side, with two on the east and two on the west sides.
