49 Distons Lane is a former house dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, which was remodelled in the later 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features a machine tile roof with ashlar coping on the northwest gable. It has two chimneys: a small red brick chimney on the southeast gable and a tall chimney made of reclaimed stone on the northeast pitch. The building is small and two storeys high. The northwest gable facing the churchyard has a range of three-light mullioned windows with dripstones, while the southwest side has a two-light window above a 20th-century doorway.
