Description
Home Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th to 18th century and has been altered over time. It is constructed of rubble stone and features an old tile roof with a large brick chimney. The house has stone coped gables on moulded kneelers, positioned to the left of center. It is two storeys high with an attic, and the north front has three widely spaced bays that contain 4-light wood mullioned and transomed windows, which have 19th-century casements. There is a six-panelled door, with the upper panels glazed, located in a 19th-century rustic porch between the right-hand and central bays. The west gable end features a 3-light attic casement and a similar 4-light cross window to the right on the first floor. At the back, there is a short rear wing with a stone coped gable, along with an additional two-storey wing extending beyond it.
