Cottages, C17 and 18, altered. Rubble stone and stucco, all painted. E. part old tiled roof, W. part thatch. Brick and stone chimneys. W. part 2 storeys, glazed door and 2 casements to ground floor, 1 casement to 1st floor, left hand bay set back slightly with 1 casement to each floor. E. part 1 storey and attic, door with thatched porch in angle of if, part, small window to right, oriel in thatch dormer. Gable wall and flank wall have 4 windows, the 2 central ones being small oriels, and 1 3 light casement to 1st floor. Right hand wing (N.), of Slade cottage is not of special interest.
