Description

Ivy Cottage is a house from the 17th century that has been altered. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a thatched roof with stone gable copings and shaped kneelers. The building has a central chimney and stands two storeys high. The gable end faces the street and includes a three-light casement window on the ground floor and a two-light casement window on the upper floor. The east front has two bays, with a door located to the right of the centre, flanked by two-light casement windows on either side. There are also two three-light casement windows on the first floor, with their heads slightly cut into the thatch.
