Description

This barn, located approximately 60 meters west of Widford House, dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some later alterations. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble and features a machine tile roof. The west side includes a hip-roofed cart entrance situated in the second bay from the left, with an opposing entrance at the rear. There is also a later lean-to made of regularly coursed rubblestone at the right angle. The barn has rectangular air vents that are splayed internally. Inside, there is a double-purlin collar and tie-beam roof spanning four bays, along with a stone and brick threshing floor.
