LITTLE FARINGDON MAIN STREET (North-east side) SP20SW 1/132 Barn approx. 50m NE of Langford House GV II

Barn. Late C18 with mirror later alterations. Uncoursed limestone rubble with quoins; stone slate roof to north-west side, machine tiles to south-east side including to hip-roofed cart projection. This has wide entrance with opposing entrance to other side. Rectangular air vents to all sides and 5 rows of pigeon nesting holes and ledges arranged in triangular form to south-west gable end. interior. Sling-past roof in 7 bays plus king-post truss to cart projection. [2441]
