Description
This barn, located approximately 50 meters northeast of Langford House, dates from the late 18th century and has some later alterations. It is constructed from uncoursed limestone rubble with quoins. The roof on the northwest side is made of stone slate, while the southeast side features machine tiles, including on the hip-roofed cart projection. The barn has a wide entrance with an opposing entrance on the other side. There are rectangular air vents on all sides, along with five rows of pigeon nesting holes and ledges arranged in a triangular form on the southwest gable end. Inside, the barn has a sling-past roof supported by seven bays, plus a king-post truss in the cart projection.
