Description

This barn, located immediately east-north-east of Langsford Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It features stone rubble walls and a half-hipped corrugated iron roof. The barn has a rectangular plan with a central threshing floor and is a single storey. The front is symmetrical, with a wide cart entrance at the center and a narrower doorway on the rear wall. There is an owl hole at the top of the left-hand end wall. Inside, the barn has a late 19th century or early 20th century scissor brace roof, which is notably pegged.
