Description

This barn, located to the north-west of Langton Farmhouse, is probably from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a pantile roof with stone-tiled eaves courses and end gables that have copings. The south-west and north-east elevations each have a central gabled porch. There are wide double doors beneath a wooden lintel, with an elliptical relieving arch above. The barn has single loop openings on two storeys, although the lower storey on the south-west side is obscured by modern lean-tos. Inside, there are eight queen post trusses.
