Description
The Grange is a former nurseryman's cottage located near Siston Court, dating from the 1830s and designed in the Gothick style. This two-storey building is constructed of coursed lias rubble and features a weathered plinth and a heavy astragal band below the eaves. The roof is covered with pantiles.
The cottage has three windows, including a central canted two-storey crenellated bay with three lights. The windows are arched, subdivided, and have quatrefoil head lights, with drips above the ground floor openings, except for the side windows of the bay. There is also a drip above the centre window of the bay on the first floor.
The entrance door is located in a crenellated single-storey extension to the right and consists of four moulded panels topped with an arched transom light.
