Description

The Rectory is an early 19th-century building, altered in the 1840s. It is constructed of coursed lias rubble with slate roofs. The front elevation features three bargeboarded gables and a window arrangement of 2 windows, a single window, and then 2 windows, with sashes retaining their glazing bars. A projecting porch with a moulded tympanum is present, and may be an addition. The rear has two angled, hipped two-storey bays flanking a central section. The interior contains features from the 1840s, including a reeded doorcase and a staircase. A notable feature is a stone Jacobean strapwork fireplace, originally from Webb’s Heath Fazw, and now located in the hall.
