Description
This building is an outbuilding, originally stables, located approximately 12 meters west of Number 14, known as The Feathers Hotel. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and is constructed of Flemish bond brick set on a limestone rubble plinth, topped with a hipped old tile roof. The structure is two storeys high and features a two-window range. There is a timber lintel above a plank loft door, which is positioned above a plank stable door, flanked by window openings. Additionally, there is a timber lintel over an early 19th-century six-panelled door located in the left end wall. The interior has plain beams. This building is included for its group value with The Feathers Hotel.
