Description
This building is a barn and stable located approximately 30 metres north of Lower Westfields Farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring a brick dentil cornice and vents, topped with an old tile roof. The barn consists of three bays and includes a stable on the left side. The barn has central double doors, while the stable has a central stable door and two small windows, all of which are topped with brick segmental arches. The return sides of the building display corbelling at the gables, and the stable has an outshut at the rear. Inside, there is a queen post roof. This structure is included for its group value.
