Description
This building is a barn and stable dating from the late 18th century, located approximately 30 meters northeast of Church Farmhouse. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick, featuring some flared headers on the sides and rear, with a limestone rubble plinth and a gabled old tile roof. The barn has five bays, while the stable to the left has two bays. The barn includes outshuts flanking a central midstrey that has a 20th-century tile roof. The stables feature 20th-century doorways at the front and a hayloft door above a segmental-arched blocked doorway, which is flanked by 20th-century casements at the rear. Inside, the barn has a five-bay collar-truss roof with curved inner principals and clasped purlins.
