Description

Baptist Church, built in 1827, is a Baptist Chapel located on the north side of Woodstock High Street. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a stuccoed front and features a gabled Welsh slate roof. It has a one-cell plan and a three-bay pedimented front. The entrance includes a semi-circular arch over a 20th-century door with a radial fanlight, flanked by tall sash windows that have radial glazing bars in their heads. Inside, the church is noted for having a gallery.
